Park Rapids is looking for $4,000,000 to continue renovating the Park Rapids Armory. The armory was closed and fell into disuse, but recently community leaders decided that the building could serve as a regional arts hub. The plan is for the building to house multiple art spaces, a gallery and could be used for a variety of purposes not related to the arts. Actual amount: $2,500,000
The historic Carnegie Library in Bemidji is in dire need of restoration according to project proponents. The library, which was constructed in 1910, has nearly 25,000 cars pass within five feet of its entrance every day. Project leaders want to move the building away from the highway, create a new foundation. And modernize the mechanical systems. They are asking for $800,000 of a total $1.6 million project.
This request is for funds to design, renovate, and expand the existing campus wellness/recreation center at the Crookston campus. The current facility can no longer support the activities of students, student-athletes, and the Crookston community as a shared use facility. Saint Cloud is looking for a little over $11 million dollars for the completion of the expansion which started in 2008. Currently the building averages 375 events a year. Total project cost is over $38 million dollars.

University leaders say the project will bring the business and Accounting Department back in the Academic heart of the University, create an actual entrance to the school and eliminate a $4.6 million deferred maintenance backlog.
Saint Cloud State University is looking towards the state to help them plan for the renovation of Eastman hall to create greater integration of academic and student service programs. The planned renovation would eliminate a $3.8 million maintenance backlog, as well strengthen ties with the local medial communities. Northland Community and Technical College - Aviation Maintenance Facility is looking for nearly $6 million to Design, renovate, furnish and equip space to meet workforce training needs. Project includes the renovation of a digital fabrication lab, solar panel system and kitchen space. The project impacts 11 classrooms.
Minnesota State Community and Technical College-Moorhead is looking to expand their transportation center for the automotive and diesel technology programs, but they need the states help. They are looking for $6.5 million dollars to renovate, construct and demolish roughly 78,000 square feet to create program space focused on alternative fuels and hybrid sources.
