Harriet Tubman Center East

  • The City of Maplewood is seeking state bonds of $750,000 to complete renovation of the Harriet Tubman Center East Building. The building is a former monastery of architectural significance, and it currently houses the Tubman program. Extensive work has been done on the facility in the last several years, with only the completion and furnishing of the shelter floors remaining. Project advocates say the final phase of improvements will enhance the delivery of a full complement of services focused on addressing domestic violence.
